Thames Trays can be fitted to most floor surfaces 1 Any wall surfaces should be prepared before floor surfaces. 2 The drain fitting aid should be trimmed to a 160mm square 3 Clear the floor working area from loose debris and grease. 4 The shower tray, drain fitting aid and waste pipe should be marked on the floor 5 Floor should can be excavated for drain fitting aid and waste pipe 6 connect the waste pipe to the soil pipe 7 embed drain fitting aid in tile adhesive sitting flush with the concrete floor 8 the drain unit should be fitted to the waste pipe and tested for water tightness 9 cover the tray area with primer . . . backfill waste pipe channel and cover tray area with tile adhesive . . . 10 embed tray in adhesive and secure with the securing tool 11 set tray completely flat or water will not flow to the drain correctly 12 surround tray with tile adhesive and embed DeltaBoard 13 surrounding tile backer boards should be placed in a brick bond fashion 14 Make sure that all tape is bedded into the wet paste 15 waterproof screws by applying the tape and waterproofing paste over them 16 bridge all joints between boards and tray with waterproofing tape and paste 17 apply tile adhesive to walls ready for tiling 18 affix wall tiles considering floor grout line and alignment if necassary 19 apply a cementitious adhesive to tray area up to drainage apeture . . . ready for Tiling . . . 20 Affix Floor tiles around on tray shower area . . . 21 21 apply a cementitious adhesive to rest of floor area . . . ready for Tiling . . . Grout as required . . . 22 (dependent on grate supplied) tile into grate if required . . . 23
